North Carolina vs. TCU (-9.5, 47) in Dublin, Ireland

  • TCU won this matchup last year on the road, 48-14. The Horned Frogs outgained North Carolina 542-222 and scored two defensive TDs. TCU controlled the line of scrimmage, stayed ahead of the chains, and consistently put the Tar Heels in difficult down-and-distance situations
  • Both teams are breaking in new QBs this season, as North Carolina starts Wisconsin transfer Billy Edwards. Edwards also played at Maryland and Wake Forest, going 4-7 in his 11 total starts. TCU brings in Jaden Craig from Harvard.
  • Former Louisville and Atlanta Falcons head coach Bobby Petrino is the new offensive coordinator in Chapel Hill, but he inherits an offensive line that is near the bottom in returning snaps and an offense that was 129th in the nation in total yards.
